♥️ COVER REVEAL! ♥️ Allow me to introduce ♥️ COVER REVEAL! ♥️
Allow me to introduce Kitty and Leo! I’d love to know what you think of the cover. In the meantime, here’s a snippet from their story:

It was an anomaly. An aberration. An unexpected and disastrous hiccup in the sacred laws of nature.
She’d simply have to explain it to him in the same way she’d attempted to explain it to herself.
“I feel obliged to remind you that our emotions were running high that day,” she said.
“I don’t disagree.”
“I suppose I was feeling quite vulnerable after having shared my stables design with you.”
“Understandable.”
“And then you said something complimentary, which caught me off-guard,” she said, vaguely accusatory.
“Clearly, such behavior is out of bounds,” he quipped.
She pressed a hand to her chest—a futile attempt to slow the beating of her heart. She dreaded saying the next bit aloud. Indeed, she would have rather strolled down Main Street wearing nothing but a nightgown. But the sooner she said it, the sooner she could shove the memory back into its hole and bury it forever.
“To answer your question,” she began shakily, “for that fleeting, bizarre, moment in time, I thought about kissing you. Although, perhaps it’s more accurate to say that I wasn’t thinking at all. It was as though my mind briefly lost control of my body.”
“You’re not the sort of person who does things she doesn’t want to do.”
“Agreed.” She blinked slowly, searching for the words to describe the highly disturbing phenomenon. “All I can say is that an odd feeling came over me, causing me to forget the myriad ways in which we are completely unsuited. But yes. I almost did it,” she said with a helpless shrug. “I almost kissed you.”
His eyes gleamed in triumph. “Why didn’t you?”
“I’m not certain what brought me to my senses,” she admitted, “but I’m forever grateful for it.”
